Java Jive Specialty Coffee & Gourmet Shop in Woodstock

This is the one and only coffee shop in town; that being said they make great espresso drinks. The atmosphere is artistic and quirky. A great place to sit and relax if you need to get out of the house.

Fabulous space to enjoy a cup of espresso with friends. Cozy seating spaces through out the large room, along with tables for lunch with the kids. Coffee was a bit more nutty in taste than I prefer, but some heavy cream (wink, wink) would have evened it out. Thank you for serving the espresso in real cups. (We bought two from Ayers Pottery before continuing our trip.) Don't miss the fresh baked goods, the Cranberry & Walnut muffin was extravagantly moist THE BEST I've ever had!! Thanks again, we enjoyed your friendly faces & hospitality. 😊

Java Jive has great staff who are pleasant and very capable. The coffee is decent but honestly not anything special. The pastries and other food items are generally tasty. However, the shop doesn’t seem to have a defined aesthetic which makes it feel cluttered and dirty. The outside paint job is well done but quite loud and obnoxious against the other downtown buildings.

My favorite place for coffee. I love that they offer an amazing variety of coffees... located in the heart of Downtown Hannibal, the location and facility will give you a real taste and feel for America’s Favorite Home Town.

This place is great. The coffee and donut for breakfast was so good that we went back for lunch. Was not disappointed. The Hart Bent-On bagel sandwich was really good. So was the Hopper. I recommend the White Milky Way latte too.

Nice place to stop and grab lunch! Great service and food was great, loved that they gave you a healthy side! Friendly staff! Cute little gifts, just wish (along with other businesses) they would leave politics out. A little bit of a turn off, but will definitely stop through again!

I've been going to Java Jive since we moved to the area almost 19 years ago. At this point, I've tried almost every coffee drink they have LOLIt's remained a favorite of mine. The atmosphere is amazing, coffee is the best in town and their food is INCREDIBLE! Staff is always friendly and very helpful. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience there. Highly recommend if you're in town and need a good cup of coffee or tea!

A hip haven in Hannibal. Cute kitschy historic building, artisan sandwiches and baked goods, good coffee. We stop here whenever we're taking the Chicago to Kansas City shortcut (aka the CKC route- also highly recommended!)

This is a quaint coffee shop with great coffee, tasty baked goods, ice cream and small meals. It also has some local pottery, books, and unique gifts. Never disappointed!

We like it a lot! We stop by whenever we're in town! It has baked goods and it is attached to a cute little gift shop. And today there was even live music outside - nice!

Stopped by this place tonight 5 minutes to closing. Super friendly staff greeted our group of 5. They had the most delicious decaf coffee (Co-Co-Mocha) and the best cappuccino muffins ever! Enjoyed their ice cream too! Really nice eclectic atmosphere. Would definitely stop by again!

Very comfortable atmosphere! Family friendly. Lots of gorgeous pottery for sale. Big lounge space with sofas and comfy chairs. Really enjoyed coming here. Ordered mochas on the mug to improve experience!

I love flavored coffees and iced teas. Java Jive has my fix! My favorites are the Blackberry Sage and Watermelon Mint Iced Teas. The Highlander Grog is my favorite flavored coffee, but I have never had any other flavored coffees that have disliked and I appreciate the variety. It's great to try something new! Their bakery case always has something fresh and creative from their bakers. They are definitely hard to pass up! My go to meal is the Cranberry Turkey Pecan Salad, because I really dig their housemade poppyseed dressing!

Fun, quirky coffeehouse/ice cream shop/diner. Interesting cards, journals, and books. Artwork by local artists on the walls and a stand-up piano add ambiance. We were there three times in 36 hours.

Great place to get a great cup of coffee or what Ilike it is called a shot in the dark which is 2 shots of espresso in a cup of coffee. Very nice and friendly employees that even when a big group comes in they do not get flustered and still get the orders out with a smile and after a while of going there they even know my name and what I like to drink. Not many places do that at all. Kudos to them for being best coffee place in Hannibal

Absolutely delightful little place! We’re here visiting out of town and have been here twice today. The breakfast was excellent i had a cranberry walnut muffin and my hubby had their daily special a pancake sandwich w/ bacon, cheese and spinach. Then we came back later for cheesecake and hot chocolate during the Chocolate Extravaganza event. Everything we had was great. We also love the cozy feel of the environment and the amazing creations on display for purchase. They have something for everyone and every budget.

People here were very helpful and friendly. The mocha I got was tasty and wasn't overly sweet yet sweet enough. 10/10 would recommend. Not a whole lot of coffee places but it was close enough to our hotel that it was easy access.

Very friendly, genuine staff! I definitely recommend stopping in if you're ever in the area. The eclectic coffee and shop is very charming. We stopped in and had a cold brew, lemonade, and a blueberry muffin. All delicious! Absolutely recommend!

So much more than the name makes this place seem! Of course there is coffee and various baked goods, so many options! Java Jive serves soups, a great variety of salads, sanwhices, and wraps! They also have a pick 2 option just like Panera. Great customer service.

Enjoyed the food; sandwhiches, salads plus wonderful soups and the place is very roomy with plenty of seating. Located downtown so parking is a little tight. Drive around the block and you'll find parking. Great array of coffees, teas, shakes and deserts and so much more. Very comfy feel and relaxed atmosphere. You are right downtown so you can visit the shops while you are parked there. Oh and they have live music from time to time as well. Try it out!

Really nice coffee shop right in the center of town. The staff were friendly and it had a fun and quirky interior. We just got coffee and tea but they also had food available. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They also had some fun little gifts and bits and pieces for sale

Me and my boyfriend stopped here on the way down to Panama City. They have really fantastic espresso cheese cake. There tea is delicious and iced seasonal coffee drink was just as good. We are stopping on the way back.

This is a delightful coffee stop treasure in this part of MO. Coffee options mean you get what you want. Decent prices mean it’s fine if you want double. Food tastes homemade and selection was fantastic. Seating is varied: soft sofas to working tables. Bonus is to be served your meal in the Ayers pottery collection: if you ever needed encouragement to browse the collection showcased in store, this will provide the prompt. Parking is free and on street outside. It’s open from 6am, and if you’re up at that hour, go for the punchiest coffee - it’s divine.
